Responsibilities
Assembly of small components as well as large assembly projects
Train new hires on shop layout and different functions
Drive as needed (Plating, ACT, ACCU Machining)
Exceed or meet Work Order build times
Clean parts
Inspect parts to print to verify assembly
Keep work area clean and free of hazards
Maintaining acceptable production rate while not sacrificing quality of work
Meeting customer and company quality standards
Minimizing rework and scrap
Optimizing setup time
Must adhere to all company safety standards
Must provide support to other departments on an as needed basis
Day to day work assignments may increase in complexity and volume
Qualification
Required
Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Basic understanding of electrical components
Familiar with basic measuring tools (Calipers)
Able to read and interpret detailed wiring diagrams, and drawings
Must demonstrate proficiency in the use of basic shop tools
Good eye hand coordination and manual dexterity skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Computer proficient
Ability to work independently
Must develop a good understanding of company quality standards
Must be able to provide accurate 'time required' estimates
Must be a team player
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of assembly experience in one of the listed fields above
