Senior Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will manage one or several services projects driving customer value realization while ensuring project success in terms of financial, schedule, scope, and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities
Manage the various stages and lifecycles of PLM Teamcenter Implementations for external customers
Review the contract and derive actions concerning risks, opportunities, and contractual obligations. Ownership of the customer contract/scope or work. Ultimately responsible for project success from a financial and delivery standpoint
Proactively monitor the project's overall progress, resolving issues and initiate corrective and preventive action as appropriate
Manage customer requirements and project scope to achieve project objectives
Establish project communication plan and provide communication to project stakeholders on all levels including escalation procedures and project progress reporting
Perform project risk management including planning, identification, analysis, response planning and controlling
Manage and resolve issues with all necessary internal and external partners. Maintain a project issue log, report intelligently on project issues based on status and support from the project team
Enforce project change management process, including but not limited to: documentation of project changes and deviations from project scope, estimate/evaluation and support quoting of changes, positioning change requests on the customer's side and supporting on the procurement process
Manage the schedule to ensure on time delivery, this includes but not limited to: site acceptance, commissioning activities and go-live support, post go-live support
Perform project quality management and manage compliance to standards, rules and regulations
Follow the procurement processes, as required
Manage contract acceptance and final project handover
Perform project reviews and retrospectives regularly and feed the results and lessons learned into project and organization
Work with Sales Account Manager to understand the value identification and planning processes
Within the constraints of the contract, understand the anticipated value the project should bring the customer
Align the project schedule with solution releases and value realization plan
Work with Sales, Services Management and Program Manager, if any, to drive customers to realize value from digital enterprise solutions
Identify and create additional opportunities out of the ongoing project and feed those to the Program- and/or Sales Account Manager
Drive the project team and customer to implement a solution that allows the customer to realize the value
Collaborate with the customer to ensure agreed KPIs are tracked and met
Undertake any other duties required by the company
Qualification
Required
Driving implementation and commissioning of IT solutions for manufacturing (preferred: Teamcenter PLM solutions)
Outstanding organizational skills
Outstanding communication capabilities, able to explain technical concepts and issues to non-technical audience (Directors/Managers, Executives)
Planning/Scheduling of project activities, assignment and tracking - Familiarity with Microsoft Project or similar tools
Capabilities of handling project budget related to resource cost/rates, utilization, calculating burn-down rates, cost and revenue forecast
Measure and optimize cost on project. Maximize project margins
Knowledge/familiarity with Agile, SCRUM, Kanban or similar iterative approaches
Experienced in the elements of business standards, compliance & ethics relevant to own role and systematic collection of detailed data
Good understanding of critical parts of the value chain and main issues of major customers
Drives adoption of business standards, compliance & ethics, providing leadership in best practice
Takes decisions in the context of good ethics
Follows business and legal regulations and rules when leading others
Values and encourages others' input and suggestions and gives constructive feedback
Stimulates constructive discussion of different points of view, focusing on the organization's strategic objectives, vision or values

Must be legally able to work in the United States for Engineering Industries eXcellence
Minimum 10 years of experience in engineering and/or manufacturing processes for design and development of products
Ability to effectively communicate progress, status and issues to internal and external customers
Ability to obtain and meet Business goals and results
Ability to work independently, as well as on a team
Proficient with Standard MS Office applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30%
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or equivalent years of experience (10 +)
Preferred
Certification in Project Management from the Project Management Institute (PMI), International Project Management Association (IPMA) or equivalent international body on a level suitable for this role
