Responsibilities
Facilitate effective Scrum ceremonies including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to ensure continuous alignment with sprint objectives and team goals
Act as a servant leader and agile coach, guiding teams through agile practices, resolving impediments swiftly, and nurturing self-organization and accountability at every level
Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to maintain transparent communication channels that support mutual understanding and expectation management
Utilize agile metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and cycle time to monitor and communicate team progress, identifying areas for improvement to achieve optimal delivery performance
Promote a culture anchored in ownership, transparency, adaptability, and continuous improvement to support evolving business needs and dynamic project environments
Lead and mentor teams, facilitating conflict resolution and encouraging collaboration, creativity, and transparency within the agile framework
Identify and remove blockers impacting team velocity and productivity, ensuring effective resource allocation and risk mitigation
Coordinate cross-team dependencies and collaborate with multiple Scrum teams to align delivery schedules and objectives
Support stakeholder engagement initiatives, assisting product owners and business leads in backlog refinement and prioritization of work items
Champion agile methodologies, offering tailored coaching to reinforce agile principles and best practices across the organization
Qualification
Required
Proficient servant leadership skills with the ability to lead without formal authority, inspiring trust and promoting empowerment
Exceptional communication and facilitation abilities, adept at managing diverse teams and communicating complex ideas clearly
Strong empathy and conflict resolution skills to foster positive team dynamics and address challenges constructively
Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude and adaptability to navigate shifting priorities and ambiguous situations
Experienced agile coaching and mentoring background with familiarity in tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Rally
Understanding of DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and Lean principles considered favorable
Proven track record managing cross-functional teams ranging from 5 to 9 members, facilitating their growth and delivery excellence
Exposure to scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus) is highly valued and will enhance ability to operate in complex, multi-team environments
Technical background with experience in software development or technical project management enhances collaboration with engineering teams
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required
Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II) are mandatory; advanced certifications like PSM III, Certified Scrum Professional - ScrumMaster (CSP-SM), or SAFe Agilist certifications are advantageous
