Start in 2026 SummerSavannah River Mission Completion (SRMC) is a prime contractor for the US Department of Energy, responsible for managing operations at the Savannah River Site. The Occupational Safety or Safety Management intern will assist with the site-wide risk management program, ensure compliance, and support facility oversight and safety responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Assist with the site wide risk management program
Help to ensure Savannah River Site (SRS) and company compliance
Assist with the development and implementation of job-specific plans and facility oversight
Assist with inspections with direction from facility safety lead, internal representatives and assists with daily safety responsibilities
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited four-year university, and currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety or Safety Management
Must have completed their Junior year
Must pass General Employment Training (GET)
Must pass Drug and Alcohol Testing (DAT)
A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above
A valid Driver's License, Registration and proof of automobile insurance is required for driving on the Savannah River Site
