Responsibilities
Define architectural vision and solution architecture which aligns with the business strategy, enterprise architecture strategy, technology and platform choices
Work with both business and technology to create the solution intent and architectural vision
Describe the solution intent and the associated operating environment, determines the primary systems/subsystems and their interfaces, defining non-functional requirements
Lead rapid shaping of a high-level architecture with details filled in with emerging business requirements; ensure architecture is flexible and modular and designed to adapt easily
Work with Product Manager/Owner to plan and prioritize technology focused backlog items for the architecture runway
Ensure the solution is fit for purpose by working with stakeholders, vendors/service providers
Evaluate the impact of strategic design decisions
Perform design reviews to ensure all non-functional requirements for a solution are sufficiently met (e.g. security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/related field or related work experience, and 10 years' experience working in Banking/Financial Services Technology discipline
Broad based IT knowledge and experience (Financial Software, Middleware, Databases)
Knowledge of payments (non-credit card), Receivables/Lockbox, Account Analysis/Billing, Deposits, Trade and Supply Chain Finance, Client Liquidity Management, and Commercial Credit Card
Able to lead and contribute to automation, causal analysis and development of shared/common solutions
Experience translating complex concepts into multiple architectural 'views' aimed at varying audiences
Domain knowledge of Payments, Accounting Services, Liquidity Management, Receivables, Trade Supply Chain Finance, Commercial Card domains (some or all preferred)
Payment Tools: ACI - Universal Online Banker, Universal Payments, and Money Transfer System (MTS), inastra/FundTech - Global Pay Plus, Fiserv – Dovetail, FIS/Clear2Pay - Open Payments Framework, Infosys – Finacle Payments, Oracle – Flexcube, US Fed Wire, NACHA, ACH, domestic payments, CHIPS, SEPA, cross-border payments, international payments, real-time/instant payments, FX payments, ISO20022, low value payments, high value payments, real time gross settlement (RTGS), B2C and B2B payments, SWIFT payments, payment clearings
