The Senior Information Technology Contract Analyst will oversee IT contract agreements, serve as a liaison between departments, and provide expertise in IT contract-related activities across the enterprise.

Responsibilities
Oversees and manages the reviews of IT contract agreements originating both within HSIS and outside HSIS, and ensures that IT, Security, Privacy, and business criteria (for HSIS agreements) are at the highest possible standard
Serves as a liaison between HSIS, Office of Legal Counsel and Purchasing to ensure the organization’s needs, including expedited processes, are effectively addressed
As needed, serves as an escalation point for staff negotiating contracts and works with Vendors to ensure that any IT-related concerns are met
Provides technical and topical expertise, information, training, and problem resolution for IT contract-related activities across the enterprise
Periodically reviews processes for efficiencies and works with the director to implement process improvements as needed
Provides weekly status reports to executive leadership (CIO and designees) on the status of the contract reviews
Mentors and oversees other staff assigned to contract reviews to ensure that the standards for HSIS and UAB Medicine overall are applied skillfully to the contract review and negotiations
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field
six (6) years of related IT experience
three (3) years of legal contract experience
