Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance processes and standards for retail technology solutions
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases based on project requirements
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to validate software functionality and performance
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard test automation tools and frameworks
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects found during testing using defect tracking systems
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure alignment on quality goals
Participate in release planning and execution activities, including release testing and validation
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance and retail technology
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
5+ years of experience in quality assurance
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Quality assurance of retail technology or e-commerce application
Experience working with retail POS systems, e-commerce platforms, or other retail technology solutions
ISTQB or other relevant certifications in software testing
