Engineer Product II - Electrification
EPITEC is seeking an Electrification Lab Test Engineer to support electrification programs by operating laboratory equipment and executing test procedures. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to define testing requirements, conduct product verification testing, and document results accurately.

Responsibilities
Collect & Organize Test Requirements Gather, review, and structure test requirements from internal and external customers. Provide feedback to ensure requirements are complete and testable
Support PV&V Testing for Power Electronics Participate in Product Verification & Validation testing of electric motors, inverters, converters, and related systems, both in?house and at external facilities
Maintain Documentation Ensure test plans, procedures, results, and schedules are accurate, current, and clearly communicated
Troubleshooting & Debugging Apply structured troubleshooting methods to identify root causes and work with peers to resolve issues safely and efficiently
Customer Collaboration Build strong working relationships with internal and external customers to support project alignment and execution
Testing Alignment Coordinate with project teams to ensure testing aligns with product requirements, design intent, and validation standards
Travel Domestic travel within the U.S. once or twice per year for customer collaboration. No international travel required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent from an accredited program
Basic understanding of embedded controllers
Knowledge of safe high-voltage practices
Understanding of motor control principles and system-level testing
Basic knowledge of design validation processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
Strong organization and multitasking skills
Customer service orientation
Experience in product development environments
Experience working with motor dynamometers (dynos)
Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers
Knowledge of microcontroller peripherals (PWM, bootloaders, ADCs, serial/parallel interfaces)
Familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, RS-232/485 communication networks
Preferred
Experience with three-phase power and high-voltage systems
Understanding of motor control software
Strong testing and validation experience
