Responsibilities

Remove and install replacement parts
Prep and wet sand
Assist in unmasking vehicles after paint refinishing
Operate buffer and miscellaneous hand tools to perform all associated auto body finish duties in accordance with auction and professional standards
May perform vehicle de-identification functions by removing vinyl wrap and adhesive
Assist in overall general shop duties such as cleaning, driving, organizing vehicle parking and staging, etc
Provide prompt and courteous service to all persons with whom they come in contact. Maintain a professional appearance and neat work environment consistent with company policy
Resolve any customer complaints in a friendly, courteous manner and advise management of all serious complaints or incidents
Practice and promote teamwork at all times. Set a good personal example of attitude and performance
Inform the Body Shop Supervisor or Manager of all equipment breakdowns and maintenance immediately

Required

High School or GED required
Previous experience in a body shop R&I
Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license that meets requirements
Must be able to pull up to 40 pounds of pull force
Ability to use tools such as ladders, heat guns, propane torches, plastic scrapers, electric sanders, drills, buffers and air blowers
High attention to detail
Interpersonal skills
Willingness to work in a team environment
Ability to work in a high performing, production environment

Preferred

1 year automotive/auction experience preferred
