Analyst II
The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is dedicated to promoting and protecting public health through effective air quality management. The Analyst II role involves providing high-level analytical and operational support to strengthen data integrity and enhance workflow within the Transactions Section, while also supporting audit compliance and process improvements.

Responsibilities
Provides high-level analytical, technical, and operational support to the Transactions Section
Performs complex work to strengthen position control, data integrity, internal controls, SOP development, reporting, and workflow infrastructure needed for the accuracy and timeliness of CARB’s personnel transactions
Plays a central role in rebuilding institutional knowledge lost during pandemic-era turnover
Supports audit compliance
Coordinates with control agencies
Provides reporting and analytics
Develops process improvement tools
Enhances workload management within the Transactions Section
