Responsibilities
Research, analyze, design, develop, test, and validate new products
Determine feasibility of development within constraints and work internally and externally to solve complex engineering problems that result in best-in-class products
Document requirements and product specifications using tools such as SolidWorks
Conduct and/or review the testing of new designs, interpret test data, and recommend corrective actions with the team and suppliers to ensure optimum functionality and quality
Spend time with customers to understand what they need and deliver solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering field – Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Physics or related
5+ years of product engineering experience with strong design skills
Curious, tenacious, entrepreneurial, collaborative nature that is focused on the customer
Experience using RCCA, FMEA, Fault Trees, Ishikawa Fish Bone diagrams
Experience with tools such as SolidWorks, LabView, and others
Knowledge of electromechanical / mechatronic devices in the areas of psychrometrics, thermodynamics, HVAC, heat transfer, cooling, materials, measurement systems, etc
