Desktop Support Technician
A Square Group (ASG) is supporting the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) in their mission to advance mental health through research and technology. They are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide high-quality end-user IT support, manage service requests, and collaborate with IT teams to ensure system reliability.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality end-user IT support for NIMH staff, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests in a customer-focused manner
Manage and resolve tickets using ServiceNow, including queue management, prioritization, and adherence to SLAs
Support and troubleshoot MacOS and Windows systems (with exposure to Linux) within an Active Directory enterprise environment
Collaborate with IT teams to meet user expectations, maintain system reliability, and support NIMH’s research and operational mission
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
5+ years of relevant, applicable professional experience
Experience with managing customer expectations and delivering the highest quality customer service
Expert with MacOS and Windows and familiarity with Linux OS in Active Directory enterprise environment
ServiceNow expertise for queue management and ticket fulfillment
Ability to obtain Public Trust
Preferred
Experience supporting NIH/NIMH programs
