Responsibilities
Cleaning and and assisting with the maintenance of the digital can printer equipment to ensure optimal performance
Feed production lines and ensure they are running smoothly
Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
Troubleshooting malfunctions on the fly; diagnosing and locating the root of a malfunction
Ensuring optimal and uninterrupted operation of the digital can printing machine, conveyance, depalletization equipment, repalletization equipment,and other necessary mechanical items by completing preventive maintenance requirements on said systems as per operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
Capture production and waste data to improve our processes and efficiency
Identifying and correcting deficiencies as they arise throughout the process
Maintaining output schedules as established by the Senior Director of Production Operations
Qualification
Required
1-2 years experience working with and maintaining/automated equipment
1-2 years of experience operating a stand up/reach style forklift
Ability to accurately match colors on screen to printed output
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions to printing challenges
Ability to troubleshoot issues and/or pivot plans quickly in order to coordinate corrective actions needed
You are self-motivated and able to work autonomously, with a focused and hard working attitude
A quick learner who is able to work with minimal or no supervision
Ability to climb ladders and work comfortably in low and high environments
Ability to multitask and work coolly and professionally in time sensitive situations
Strong mechanical aptitude - troubleshooting ability under pressure and time constraints is a must
Must have good communication skills with the ability to both receive feedback and offer ideas
Ability to push, pull, bend, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday
Ability to work early, long hours with flexibility and the ability to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary to ensure product delivery
