Responsibilities
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives in close collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering (MFE) personnel
Update and maintain routings in SAP and support the launch and industrialization of new product variants
Create and maintain work instructions, data setting sheets, and other production-related documentation
Collaborate with other MFEs and cross-functional departments to improve OEE through process optimization
Work directly with assembly teams to improve defect detection and camera-based inspection systems
Analyze production data (scrap, quality, downtime) to define corrective actions with the team
Support and implement process improvements directly on the shop floor
Qualification
Required
BA/BS degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
minimum 5 years in an engineering role
Experience with camera detection and vision systems (Keyence, Cognex, or similar)
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience driving process improvements in a manufacturing or assembly environment
Ability to work cross-functionally with production, quality, and engineering teams
Preferred
Experience with TOX or Kistler presses and related data collection systems
Background in leak testing processes and equipment
Previous experience in automotive or industrial assembly environments
Hands-on experience with Siemens HMIs and basic controls systems
Advanced experience with vision systems (ideally Keyence or Cognex)
