Cyber Analyst

Responsibilities

Integrate Cybersecurity best practices and recommend toolchains for the UAS processes
Utilize best practices and methods for monitoring, auditing, and measuring risk, compliance, and assurance efforts
Provide management oversight and technical expertise for cyber development and sustainment of UAS systems, subsystems and components
Evaluate cyber posture, architecture, development, and modification approach of UAS and make recommendations to Tech Chief regarding best technical approach to support P3I and sustainment
Manage cost, schedule, and performance of contractor developed baselines and modifications
Monitor Problem Change Requests and assign priorities for resolution
Plan and manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorizations, penetration tests and other cybersecurity assessments
Plan, coordinate, and execute changes to address information assurance issues
Author Performance Work Statements for competitive cyber support task orders
Communicate directly with contractors, engineers, logisticians, program managers, and business team members in order to provide coordinated direction and tasking
Provide concise reports to management on status, potential issues/risks, and participate in the development of contingency plans
Ensure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts conform to DoD security, resilience, and dependability requirements at the software application, system, and network levels
As stated, document deviations, and recommend required actions to correct those deviations
Candidate must be a self-starter, be detail-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication skills and work well with others
The candidate must adapt quickly and continue learning a wide variety of technologies
Candidate must demonstrate technical proficiency in vulnerability assessment and project management
Candidates must have a foundational understanding of cybersecurity with the ability to develop and maintain a Risk Management Framework authorization package and eMASS packages
Familiarity with Cybersecurity assessment tools (ACAS, Nessus, SCC, STIG Viewer)

Required

Clearance: Secret Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems or a related technical field
5+ years of related technical experience within Cybersecurity, Architecture, etc
DoD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain a Secret Clearance is required
U. S. Citizenship is required
Strong background in system administration and Risk Management Framework (RMF) duties
