Responsibilities
Lead and inspire: Provide professional leadership to your team of more than 15 technical project managers for blades and vanes development, fostering an environment of drive, innovation, and high performance
Culture and collaboration: Create an inclusive and collaborative environment where all team members can contribute to their full potential
Growth and development: Enable organizational growth and individual development through multi-skilling, training, task assignments, and proactive creation of opportunities
Operational excellence: Ensure quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency in turbine operations
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, service, procurement, and program management on engine level to meet project and operational goals
Continuous improvement: Drive initiatives to optimize processes, tools, and methodologies within the team
Qualification
Required
Bachelors in mechanical engineering or similar technical degree
10 years R&D project management or line management
Proven leadership experience
Deep understanding of design activities for gas turbine / turbine project like aerodynamics, heat transfer, mechanical integrity, mechanical design, manufacturing and service
Strategic thinking focused on execution, excellence and team performance
Strong communication, inter-cultural awareness, and presentation skills
A proactive mindset with analytical and organizational skills and the ability to communicate expertise for networking and change management
Available for domestic travel
Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa requirements
Preferred
Master's degree preferred
Preferred experience in gas turbine design
