Responsibilities
Support the design, analysis, and implementation of fire protection systems for a variety of advanced facilities, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards
Work in the design of sprinkler systems, special hazards suppression systems, fire pumps, fire alarm systems, and building/life safety codes under the guidance of experienced Fire Protection Engineers
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to address fire protection and life safety challenges during design and construction phases
Qualification
Required
Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Preferred
Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
Prior work or internship experience in Fire Protection Engineering
Familiarity with NFPA and ICC codes and standards
University level experience with CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) (FDS) modeling and analysis
Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
