Responsibilities
Provide daily customer service to employees regarding Facilities-related needs
Maintain building interior and exterior spaces, including assisting with lawn maintenance
Receive, record, deliver, and store stock; maintain inventory and organize storage areas
Maintain order and cleanliness of the loading dock for deliveries
Install, move, and reconfigure cubicles and office furniture
Set up conference rooms and common spaces for internal meetings and events
Check fire extinguishers and maintain related inspection logs
Test emergency lighting and document results
Follow documented procedures carefully when maintaining or servicing office equipment
Perform routine light-duty repairs/troubleshooting (e.g., door hardware, minor plumbing, furniture)
Assist with mail operations as needed
Perform other miscellaneous tasks that arise on a daily basis
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of Outlook and Windows applications
Valid and unrestricted driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to handle multiple priorities
Ability to work professionally with all departments and employees
Accurate and strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work with machinery and a variety of tools at varying heights, lighting, temperature, noise and dust levels. Position requires work indoors and outdoors where conditions and temperatures may fluctuate
Preferred
Completed two years of college preferred
Prior work experience with lawn maintenance preferred but not required
