Responsibilities
Execute standardized test procedures on electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products using various test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, functional testers, power supplies)
Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot defects, failures, and non-conformances identified during testing, utilizing schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
Document test results accurately and thoroughly, including pass/fail status, defect codes, and repair actions, into relevant data systems
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions
Calibrate and maintain test equipment according to established schedules and procedures
Identify opportunities for process improvement within the testing area to enhance efficiency and product quality
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Support new product introductions by assisting with test fixture setup and validation
Provide clear and concise communication regarding test status and potential issues to supervisors and cross-functional teams
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED required
1-3 years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or a similar manufacturing role, preferably in a high-volume production environment
Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Familiarity with common electronic test equipment (e.g., DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
Basic computer skills, including experience with data entry and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Must be able to work the C Shift
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods
Preferred
Associate's degree in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field preferred
