Responsibilities
Follow laser operator work instructions to ensure quality part production
Operate sheet lifters and forklifts to load/unload materials
Adhere to safety procedures for safe operations
Perform preventive maintenance, follow instructions, troubleshoot issues, and report to Operations Manager for repairs
Communicate workload, irregularities, and production needs across shifts
Collaborate with material handlers for efficient and safe material flow in the laser area
Accurately measure using various tools
Maintain equipment and supplies
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
Must pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and physical assessment
Proficient in using measuring tools accurately and reading basic blueprints
Preferred
Technical degree preferred but not required
Preferably 3+ years of manufacturing experience
Strong time management and productivity skills
Detail-oriented with high work quality
Proficient in functional and technical skills
Maintains consistent work performance
Able to cross-train effectively
Collaborative with strong teamwork skills
Demonstrates initiative, creativity, leadership, and communication skills
Experienced with blueprints
