Responsibilities
Assists the Wellness Center Program Manager with incorporating photo and video content into public health communications materials, such as social media sites and print media
Assists the Wellness Center Program Manager with creating a social media strategy
Assists the Wellness Center Program Manager and Project Coordinator with creating monthly newsletter
Gains knowledge of cultural and health resources, programs, and issues
Researches health issues that may impact Tribal and community members
Researches public health messaging strategies
Stays up to date with current design and visual communication trends to bring fresh ideas to projects
Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained
Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Proficient knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, computer, and Internet usage
Good knowledge of health and wellness
Good attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be dependable and can work cooperatively with others and must value teamwork
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse cultures
Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Willingness to learn new media programs and techniques
Ability to multitask and work well under stress
Must be a self-starter and able to adjust to change
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
