Responsibilities
Leading projects for industrial air filtration New Product Development and Current Product Engineering
Carrying out all project management activities from change initiation to implementation for various types of engineering changes such as qualifying a new supplier, new material, new tool for plastic parts, cost reduction and design changes, structural calculations, and venting calculations
Communicating and collaborating with Project Leaders, Application Engineers, Sales Representatives, Suppliers, Procurement Teams, Quality and Production Engineers to implement engineering changes or find optimal solutions to problems
Utilizing Oracle Business Intelligence to obtain desired information about products and product supply
Reviewing engineering drawings and providing design guidance and input on plastic, rubber, and sheet metal products
Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams (CFT) to resolve engineering issues according to drawing standards and manufacturing feasibility
Demonstrating knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) workflow cycles
Proficient in software tools such as Solidworks, Teamcenter, and Oracle BI
Providing design guidance and recommending alternative solutions as required
Demonstrating design knowledge of Industrial filtration systems and supporting the development of new products to achieve technical objectives, customer requirements, and design specifications
Demonstrated Knowledge of ECO or ECN, Drafting, PPAP, and Testing & Validation protocols
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with an Engineering focus
5+ years of professional engineering experience
Preferred
Prior application engineering experience
Master's Degree in technical field
Air filtration knowledge/experience
Direct experience supporting OEMs
Prior electrical experience would be beneficial
Demonstrated project management skills
Strong technical communication skills, and ability to communicate at all levels
Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage through competing projects and priorities efficiently with strong attention to detail
