Responsibilities
Design and optimize fired heaters and boilers
Perform heat transfer, combustion, and hydraulics calculations using tools such as FRNC-5 and XRG-proprietary software
Perform CFD simulations of combustion and heat transfer equipment
Support field surveys, commissioning, and performance testing
Collaborate on R&D and proprietary software development
Qualification
Required
BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
10+ years of process engineering experience with fired heat transfer equipment (fired heaters, boilers, etc.), including field experience
Extensive familiarity with applicable API, ASME, ASTM standards
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred
MS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
Experience with industrial controls and instrumentation
Experience with CFD/FEA
