Responsibilities

Develop and implement Sila’s Quality Management Plan (QMP) tailored to owner requirements, industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and regulatory mandates
Develop, implement, and enforce a project-specific Quality Assurance Plan and QC protocols for construction, materials, and equipment
Conduct systematic internal and external audits to verify adherence to established protocols and technical standards
Perform on-site quality inspections and audits to verify adherence to design drawings, specifications, and codes
Review and validate contractor quality plans, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and material certifications to ensure vendor performance
Liaise with contractors, engineering designers, and vendors to ensure quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain comprehensive records of inspections, test results, and quality incidents, providing regular, detailed reports to project stakeholders
Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and develop Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to resolve quality risks before they impact timelines
Act as the primary point of contact for quality issues between the owner, engineering teams, and construction partners
Monitor and report on key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and trend analyses to senior management
Facilitate lessons-learned sessions to improve quality management processes for future project phases

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field
Typically 7–10+ years of experience in QA roles specifically supporting large-scale industrial or capital projects
Proficiency in project and defect management tools
Ability to interpret complex technical specifications and identify patterns in defect data
Strong skills to foster a quality-driven culture and negotiate resolutions with multi-disciplinary teams
Proactively identifying potential quality failures and developing mitigation strategies

Preferred

Highly preferred credentials include ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
