Responsibilities
Lead MES solution projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring compliance with cGMP and 21 CFR Part 11
Act as Solution Architect for MES integrations across ERP, LIMS, control systems (PLC/DCS), historians, and reporting platforms
Deploy MES platforms such as Werum PAS-X, Sepasoft, or POMS for Life Sciences manufacturing
Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and oversee project profitability up to $1M+
Mentor and lead engineering teams, guiding junior engineers and technicians
Collaborate directly with clients to gather requirements, recommend optimal system designs, and deliver efficient, compliant solutions
Support business development efforts, including trade shows, associations, and client relationship growth
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or Applied Sciences required
10+ years MES experience, with at least 4 years in Life Sciences
Proven experience with MES deployment, integration, and full lifecycle management (concept, design, implementation, testing, commissioning)
Deep knowledge of GAMP5, S88, and S95 standards for EBR and process integration
Familiarity with ERP, LIMS, DeltaV, SAP, PI, Maximo, and relational databases (SQL, Oracle)
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, warehouse/inventory management in GMP environments
Ability to travel up to 25%
