Sourcing Specialist
Synergy Business Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join their team in a fast-paced environment. The role involves executing the sourcing process, collaborating with internal teams, and engaging with suppliers to drive effective supplier decisions.
Responsibilities
Execute the end‑to‑end sourcing process for assigned business areas
Partner with internal teams including business units, legal, and ISC personnel
Engage with suppliers and industry analysts to gather market insights
Analyze bid responses and present clear recommendations for supplier selection
Lead or support sourcing project teams and negotiate with suppliers
Communicate sourcing strategy, progress, and results to leadership
Build strong relationships with business partners and suppliers
Provide data‑driven market analysis to support supplier qualification and performance management
Identify opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership
Monitor ongoing supplier performance and support external spend management
Conduct business with integrity, complying with corporate, legal, and environmental guidelines
Qualification
Required
1+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage a high‑volume workload in a fast‑paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Preferred
Undergraduate degree preferred (Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related fields)
