Electronics Technician
KBR’s Missile, Aviation, and Ground Systems (MAGS) division delivers mission engineering solutions for critical U.S. Army programs. Responsibilities
Apply advanced technical knowledge, gained through education and/or experience, to accomplish the work necessary to develop deliverable products from engineering documentation and drawings
Perform a variety of complex technical duties including the fabrication, assembly, test, troubleshooting, analysis, evaluation, modification, and operation of complex electrical and electronic circuits and equipment in support of defense systems
Perform complex repairs including replacement of components parts based on troubleshooting results
Assemble components in accordance with instructions
Fabricate cable assemblies and prototype units and integrate these into larger systems
Direct and coordinate the work of other lower-level technicians and personnel to assure maximum efficiencies of group activities in meeting task requirements
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma with a minimum of five years of directly related work experience as an aviation technician per the above stated position duties with emphasis on cable harness fabrication
Proficient in the use of hand tools and electrical test equipment
Must be a U.S. Citizen that possesses, or has the ability to obtain, a Secret Clearance
Preferred
IPC 620 standard certification
Knowledgeable in shop procedures and techniques
Associates Degree in Engineering Technology or related field or military technical training program or completion of technical institute program
Experience in compiling data related to the design, technical specifications and components materials needed for finished units, making corrections to drawings, documenting changes found during prototype assembly. Development of engineering change data. Design and fabrication prototype assemblies and design board layouts using design tools
Experience in using various RF measurement equipment to include signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers with the ability to utilize equipment to perform testing and troubleshooting functions
FCC certified, RADAR optional
