Electrical/ Mechanical Commissioning Intern

They are seeking a Commissioning Intern to provide specialty services for their Commissioning and Energy projects, working alongside architects and engineers both in the office and onsite.

Responsibilities
Perform commissioning related activities to include testing (QA/QC, Functional Performance), equipment and systems start-up
Assist your team working directly with Jacobs clients, project stakeholders, and contractors to achieve the best possible outcome for the owner/client
Be involved in energy projects including audits, efficiency studies and renewable energy development focused on improving performance for clients
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a degree seeking program in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management
Previous internship experience in commissioning, design or construction management with a focus on mechanical, electrical, plumbing or building envelope systems
US Citizenship
Ability to work on site at least 3 days per week
Preferred
Familiarity with building code requirements, mechanical, electrical or building envelope systems
Understanding of the Construction process
at least 3 years of college level coursework completed
