Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-level storage solutions (SAN/NAS) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) server environments
Monitor storage and server systems for performance and capacity, perform proactive maintenance, and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
Manage and maintain comprehensive data protection and disaster recovery solutions, including backups, replication, and snapshots
Develop shell scripts to automate repetitive system tasks and maintain detailed Fulfill storage and server requests, manage user access and permissions, and collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless system integration and documentation for all system architectures, configurations, and procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise storage administration
3+ years of experience in Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, etc.)
In-depth knowledge of storage protocols such as Fibre Channel, NFS, and CIFS
Proficiency with storage virtualization and software-defined storage (SDS) concepts
Experience with backup and recovery software such as Dell Networker, Comvault Clumio and NetApp BlueXP
Experience with Disaster Recovery planning and associated tools
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere)
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
