Project Manager IV-Groundwater Support

Responsibilities

Works under limited supervision to run routine, small to mid-scale environmental, engineering, and/or architectural projects
Supervises and/or directs technical and project efforts (including schedule, budget, etc.) which may include direction/interaction with non-Pro2Serve employees
Under limited supervision, handles routine, small to mid-scale projects (projects typically more than $50,000 but less than $250,000 in scope)
Develops and coordinates schedules, budgets, subcontractors, etc. as needed. Obtains approvals, permits, etc. as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations and codes
Review all cost estimates, schedule changes, etc
Prepares and coordinates reports, studies, calculations, etc. as required
May lead conferences/meetings with client to establish project objectives and resolve all levels of design problems
Interfaces with federal and state regulators to resolve technical and regulatory issues
Understanding of Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability ACT(CERCLA)
Understanding of Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA)
Directs work efforts of project personnel
Demonstrates ability to get along with coworkers, customers and visitors
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required

Requires Bachelor Degree in Engineering and typically requires 10+ years of previous engineering or Project Management experience
Previous experience working with Department of Energy projects or programs
Able to read and interpret regulatory documents, engineering drawings, etc
Able to write routine and non-routine reports and correspondence
Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
Able communicate with multiple stakeholders
Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Able to interpret a variety of instructions deal with abstract and concrete variables

Preferred

Project Management Professional certification-PMP
Advanced Degree MS, MA, MBA highly desirable
Previous experience with OREM
Familiar with DOE Order 413
Ecological Risk Assessment
