They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Search and Personalization team, responsible for building backend systems that enhance user content discovery and personalization through data and machine learning.

Responsibilities
Design, code and enhance our backend services that provide Search, Recommendations, Popular, Trending, Similar, Continue Watching, Personalized Notifications system
Help us build new capabilities such as upselling, targeting, etc
Work closely with Data Engineering, Platform Services, Data Science, and VideoAI to continuously improve and build these capabilities
Qualification
Required
8+ years of software development experience with Golang, Java, Scala or C++
Experience designing and operating large-scale distributed systems in production
Experience working with microservices and service-oriented architectures
Experience building RESTful APIs and event-driven, asynchronous services
Experience working with NoSQL databases at scale
Experience building and deploying containerized, cloud-native applications
Experience applying caching strategies using in-memory and distributed systems such as Redis, Memcached
Experience with production instrumentation, monitoring, and alerting
Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-tested code
Strong sense of ownership and accountability for systems end to end
Strong verbal and written communication
BS and/or MS in Computer Science or related field
Preferred
Big data experience
Experience with Search Technology like Elastic search
Experience with ML / AI techniques
Experience with A/B testing
