They are seeking a Senior Project Engineer who will act as the technical owner across multiple renewable projects, leading engineering workflows and collaborating with various teams to ensure project feasibility and success.

Responsibilities
Lead continuous improvement of internal engineering workflows and diligence for project acquisitions
Support design and engineering efforts across renewable energy and cleantech projects
Manage third-party consulting engineers and collaborate with partners on preliminary and final engineering plans
Serve as the Owner’s Engineer, managing EPCs and third-party engineering partners
Uphold engineering, equipment, and construction standards
Collaborate with Development and Finance teams to assess project feasibility, risk, and identify cost-saving innovations
Provide technical expertise in solar technology, including rooftop, ground-mounted fixed-tilt, and single-axis tracker systems
Review project deliverables for code compliance, utility interconnection requirements, and contract scope
Perform and review energy production modeling using PVsyst and Helioscope
Travel for work up to 30%, depending on project needs and home location
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required
7+ years of renewable energy experience, including 5+ years with Rooftop Solar PV and small (1-10MW) ground-mount systems
Strong analytical mindset and creative approach to energy/carbon optimization problems
Experience managing a high-volume project portfolio with competing priorities
Ability to make technical decisions and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams
Experience with Helioscope, PVSyst, AutoCAD, Procore, energy modeling, and MS Office
Preferred
Master's degree
PE (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil)
Experience with energy efficiency, CHP, fuel cells, or other carbon-reduction technologies
