5+ years expCounty Materials Family of Companies manufactures and delivers concrete construction products, and they are seeking a Project Coordinator for County Prestress & Precast, LLC. The Project Coordinator will provide drawing and detail checking and assist Project Managers and Project Coordinators as required.

Responsibilities
Review estimate, contract and contract documents (drawings, specifications, addenda, etc.) to become familiar with project
Check erection drawings and piece tickets against contract documents, approval drawings and ‘mark-ups’
Suggest or modify details to reduce costs to County Prestress, owner and/or erector
Compare actual project being drawn with estimate at bid sheet and alert Project Manager/Engineer and Estimator of quantity or material deviations
Ensure piece drawings are available a minimum of two days prior to their production dates
Ensure embed plates and loose material are checked well before they are required so material can be fabricated, assembled and delivered
Stay in continual contact with Project Manager, Project Coordinator and Project Scheduler in order to meet erection and production schedules
Responsible for checking dimensions and scope of work of drawings & details prepared by others
Work with Project Engineers and Project Coordinators during development of erection drawings and piece tickets
Work with all other County Prestress departments to promote a strong working relationship
Develop and maintain relationships with external engineers, architects and contractors as required or requested
Qualification
Required
Education – AutoCAD or Revit certification, or Autodesk certified
Knowledge and Skills – Detailed experience in precast concrete drafting and detailing. Extensive ability to read and comprehend contract drawings
Previous Experience – Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in precast
Preferred
Knowledge of LecWall would be a plus
