Start in 2026 SummerThe Boring Company is seeking Operations Interns for Summer 2026 who will have significant responsibilities similar to regular employees. The role involves supporting various teams in project development, purchasing, accounting, finance, operations, and corporate affairs in a fast-paced environment aimed at revolutionizing transportation.

Responsibilities
Support project development by identifying, tracking and pursuing project leads, assist with the preparation of proposals and marketing materials
First-hand experience analyzing supplier and spend data, communicating with suppliers, purchasing direct and/or indirect goods or services, and support of various projects like creating and implementing new processes
Facilitate invoice processing, daily reconciliation of transactions, and monthly close process (Accounting) and support budget tracking and management and perform spend analysis to generate useful insights (Finance)
Liaison between management and team members in communicating matters related to scheduling and coordination of active construction and facilities projects
Conduct research on a wide range of business and legal issues. Support the deal-making process from start to finish, e.g., from structuring the business model to negotiating the contract
Qualification
Required
Completed or pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
Preferred
Experience in engineering, logistics, construction, real estate, or business development
Experience supporting a team in a fast-paced, start-up environment
Ability to act urgently and communicate often and clearly
Superior organizational skills including excellent written and verbal communication
Initiative in resolving problems and an independent worker, with enthusiasm and an energetic approach to work
Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously
