Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize complex database systems and scalable data pipelines
Build and manage ETL processes using Databricks, Python, and Scala
Work with ElasticSearch and Kibana for data indexing, search, and visualization
Develop and maintain data solutions on AWS cloud platforms
Ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability across data warehouses
Collaborate in Agile teams following CMM/CMMI Level 3 standards and TDD practices
Support data visualization and analytics initiatives
Qualification
Required
12+ years of experience developing complex database systems
8+ years of hands-on experience with Databricks
8+ years using Python and/or Scala
8+ years with ElasticSearch and Kibana
8+ years working with Oracle databases
5+ years of experience with ETL processes and data pipelines
5+ years of experience with AWS cloud services
5+ years in data warehousing, data visualization tools, and data integrity
5+ years applying CMM/CMMI Level 3 methodologies
5+ years working in Agile development environments, including TDD
Hybrid role: Onsite 2 days per week (required)
Candidates must be local within a 60-mile radius of Lansing, MI
