Responsibilities

Serve as primary operational support for Small Cell networks, managing internal and customer-facing devices
Monitor network alarms, analyze issues, and take corrective action to restore service
Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting of DAS network alarms
Utilize monitoring systems and tools to remotely access network equipment and resolve alarms
Localize network issues to host or remote equipment using provided diagnostic tools
Engage field operations and Tier 2 support teams for complex network equipment issues
Recognize patterns and correlations across multiple alarms or tickets to identify root causes and potential resolutions
Act as the first point of contact for large-scale outages and provide ongoing updates
Respond to client requests and proactively notify customers of network issues and business impacts
Review planned and unplanned changes to network infrastructure
Maintain internal communication with Fiber NOC teams regarding alarm status and resolution progress
Provide external communication to customers with timely updates on alarms, escalations, and outage status
Interface with field personnel to verify repairs, testing, and alarm resolution
Accurately document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in ticketing systems
Maintain a working knowledge of products, processes, and systems used within the SCN NOC

Required

3–5 years of customer service and/or service dispatch experience
Knowledge of wireless telecommunications network management systems
Strong sense of personal accountability and ownership
Excellent customer service with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn specialized system tools
Skilled in ticket creation and maintenance documentation
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to make sound, time-sensitive decisions

Preferred

Fiber, DAS, and Small Cell experience preferred
Strong customer service and technical troubleshooting skills
Associate's degree or equivalent technical training in Electronics or Information Technology preferred
Telecommunications or wireless industry experience preferred
Knowledge of wireless communications is a plus
