Responsibilities
Lead the architecture design, build, and optimization of global infrastructure solutions, including virtualization, servers, storage, and backup systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business units to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable 24x7 infrastructure services
Develop and maintain detailed documentation, roadmaps, and diagrams for current and future infrastructure solutions aligned with AXA’s strategic and security standards
Provide Level 3/4 technical support, troubleshooting complex incidents and ensuring continuous service improvement
Drive modernization initiatives by integrating next-generation technologies such as automation, cloud-native principles, and AI into infrastructure solutions
Ensure all solutions meet security policies, compliance standards, and Business Continuity requirements, including disaster recovery (DR) planning
Participate in global on-call support rotations, ensuring seamless 24/7 infrastructure availability across regions
Support infrastructure projects such as data center moves, security upgrades, and platform obsolescence, ensuring smooth execution and handover to BAU teams
Qualification
Required
Over 8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with at least 5 years in solution architecture design and build
Proven expertise in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), operating systems (Windows, Linux), storage, and backup solutions
Strong knowledge of security best practices, infrastructure hardening, and tooling (e.g., Qualys, firewalls, network security)
Hands-on experience with scripting, automation, and cloud-native deployment principles
Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft MSCA, VMware, Linux, Security) or equivalent practical experience
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex multi-layered infrastructure issues
Strong communication skills in English, with proven ability to collaborate across regions and teams
Preferred
Knowledge of networking, distributed services (Active Directory, DNS, Citrix), and telephony infrastructure (Avaya, Genesys) is a plus
