Responsibilities

Lead the design and execution of global clinical development strategies aligned with corporate objectives
Serve as a senior clinical voice in program governance, portfolio planning, and regulatory interactions
Oversee clinical trial design, protocol development, data interpretation, and clinical decision-making
Collaborate closely with Regulatory, Translational Science, Biometrics, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams
Build and mentor a high-performing clinical development team, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and inclusivity
Drive efficient study execution, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence
Engage with key external stakeholders including investigators, KOLs, partners, and investors as needed
Contribute to corporate strategy, investor materials, and business development assessments

Required

MD, PharmD, or PhD with significant clinical development leadership experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical environments
Proven track record advancing assets through clinical development stages (IND through pivotal studies preferred)
Deep understanding of regulatory pathways and global clinical development strategy
Experience working in high-growth biotech settings (startup or Series A–C environment strongly preferred)
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at the executive level
Strong scientific rigor combined with pragmatic execution mindset
Entrepreneurial and adaptable; comfortable operating in an evolving, high-growth environment
Hands-on leadership style with willingness to roll up sleeves when needed
Strong communicator who values transparency and collaboration
Passionate about building culture alongside building science
