Responsibilities
Work in a laboratory environment that may contain chemical odors
Perform assigned duties according to the current HSE laboratory safety standards
Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations while performing assigned duties
Collect data, document test results, and assist report preparation
Maintain, operate and calibrate high-pressure, high-temperature lab equipment
Analyze data and prepare detailed reports
Support product development with testing insights
Perform material compatibility tests with various solvents and chemicals
Qualification
Required
Associate degree in STEM
Minimum 8 years of hands-on laboratory experience, preferably in oilfield, energy, or industrial testing
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Meet internal and external commitments, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit customer feedback to improve service
Be dependable, trustworthy, truthful, and credible in the workplace. Display a sincere desire to provide service or assistance, follow instructions, and take responsibility for your own actions. Show a commitment to doing the best job possible
Lift and carry 50 pounds in various packaging
Tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds, with the use of a drum dolly
Comply with all Federal, State, and Local laws
Have fluency in reading, writing, and speaking in English
Adhere to guidelines, policies, and procedures as described in the Jacam Catalyst handbook
Adhere to Jacam Catalyst's Drug and Alcohol policy and agree to submit to random drug testing as a condition of employment
