New Grad, Entry LevelGenerac is a family-owned electrical and gas contracting company specializing in the installation of automatic standby generators. They are seeking a Generator Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and provide repair options for customers' generators.

Responsibilities
Perform Preventative Maintenance, including oil changes, on our customers automatic standby generators
Diagnose/Troubleshoot generators that have issues or are not working properly
Explain to customer if their generator has an issue and how you would be able to fix it
Provide repair options to the customer
Rotate after hours emergency call schedule with our technician team (once every 6 weeks)
Qualification
Required
Must have a full set of personal hand tools
Applicants must be clean-cut, neat, and professional
Well-spoken and polite
Clean Driver's License (license will be run prior to interview)
Proficiency in English & Spanish is required
Preferred
Knowledge of NEC Code a plus
Experience with Residential Customers a PLUS
Generator knowledge is a PLUS (generator training is available)
Generator training or certification a HUGE PLUS
Auto mechanic or auto knowledge a PLUS
