Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
Build and integrate RESTful APIs to enable secure, reliable data exchange across platforms
Develop responsive, component‑based user interfaces with Angular
Model, query, and optimize Oracle databases (PL/SQL, indexing, performance tuning)
Leverage Microsoft Azure for deployment, monitoring, scaling, and security of cloud workloads
Implement and support CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar) for automated build, test, and release
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end, production‑ready solutions following engineering best practices
Qualification
Required
7+ years of hands‑on experience in Java development with Spring Boot and microservices
Proven experience designing, building, and consuming REST APIs
Front‑end development with Angular (component architecture, responsive UI, client‑side validations)
Strong database skills with Oracle (schema design, PL/SQL, performance tuning)
Experience deploying and running applications on Azure (App Services, monitoring, scaling, security fundamentals)
Practical experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps or equivalent) and source control (Git)
Solid troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills
Clear communication, collaboration, and ownership mindset
Preferred
Knowledge of Cosmos DB or Couchbase (NoSQL patterns)
Containerization and orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
Exposure to GCP for multi‑/hybrid‑cloud projects
Familiarity with infrastructure as code, monitoring/observability, and automated testing
Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance
Relevant certifications (optional): Oracle Certified Professional: Java SE, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT or equivalent
