Responsibilities
Design, configure, and manage Arista network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and automation tools
Support the development and optimization of customer network requirements leveraging Arista’s Extensible Operating System (EOS) and CloudVision
Implement network automation using Python, Ansible, or CloudVision APIs to streamline configuration management and monitoring
Troubleshoot and resolve complex Layer 2/3 network issues within Arista environments
Propose and implement system enhancements to improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of Arista network integrations
Support day-to-day operations, upgrades, and patching of Arista infrastructure
Participate in the development and support of customer technical requirements across network and application delivery domains
Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to achieve shared goals
Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks
Qualification
Required
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required
5+ years of experience in network engineering, with demonstrated expertise in Arista
Strong understanding of routing, switching, network security, and automation in data center or cloud architectures
Arista Certifications: ACE: L1–L3 or equivalent experience
DoD Certification: IAT Level II (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, etc.)
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills; strong ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
