Responsibilities
Model Partnerships & Integration: Identify and evaluate promising new models. Work directly with external model teams — research labs, open-source maintainers, and partner organizations — to bring their work to Cloudflare. Serve as the technical point of contact through integration and launch
Technical Content & Education: Author tutorials, technical blog posts, and documentation that help developers understand and adopt our AI offerings. Make complex concepts accessible
Community Engagement & Support: Actively participate in developer communities like Discord. Provide technical support, gather feedback, and build relationships with developers and contributors
Engineering & Prototyping: Build demos, sample applications, and reference implementations that showcase what's possible with Cloudflare's AI infrastructure
Internal Product Advocacy: Synthesize feedback from developers and model partners into actionable insights for Product and Engineering teams. Influence roadmap, API design, and feature prioritization
Event Representation: Present at conferences, meetups, and online events through technical talks, workshops, and live demonstrations
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers and Diffusers, Cog). Solid understanding of how models work and how to work with them
Portfolio of technical writing — blog posts, documentation, tutorials — that demonstrates clear explanation of complex topics
Experience presenting technical content at conferences, meetups, or through video content
Active participation in developer communities. You're visible, helpful, and engaged
Track record of working with external teams — whether open-source maintainers, research groups, or partner engineering teams
Can build end-to-end applications that integrate models and serve as examples for developers
Preferred
Familiarity with Cloudflare Workers or serverless/edge architectures
Full-stack experience (JavaScript/TypeScript) for building complete applications
Experience with model fine-tuning or vector databases
Background in ML research or contributions to model development
Experience with image, video, or audio models
