Group Lead- Warehouse Operations

Responsibilities

Assure staff remain level loaded throughout the shift, adjusting as needed in areas of assignment
Primary contact point for other functional groups for delegation and reduce indirect distraction
Lead tactical troubleshooting of challenges in area of report
Assist in staff assessments, assignments, training plans, and projects
Assist in the development of improvement strategies and execution plans
Support and foster team empowerment and lead by example
Cycle Counting coordination and / or execution as assigned
Follow all provided control procedures and policies to complete tasks
Lead engagement activities assuring promotion of a safe work environment
Functionally work within a team to complete shop floor execution daily requirements
Lead coordination efforts and flow of product through the areas of report including but not limited to transacting, storage, labeling, movement, packaging, shipment, and return from field and/or stock
Performs additional duties or assignments as directed by management

Required

Proficient using Microsoft office suite, MRP, and other automation software and programs

Maintain positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors
Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance
Ability to continually meet all ADA factors as detailed within this job description
High School graduate
4 years related disciplines experience required, 6 years overall with 1 year of leadership experience preferred
Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance

Preferred

Experience pulling data from ERP, WMS and TMS preferred
Healthcare, medical device or other manufacturing in a regulated environment experience desired
2 years advanced education preferred
Previous forklift experience (counterbalance, swing mast, stock picker, reach truck) preferred, if none, ability to become certified required
