Responsibilities
Develop and modify simulation scripts to model autonomous vehicle behavior
Create driving scenarios involving traffic, pedestrians, and real-world conditions
Evaluate vehicle responses using tools like Applied Intuition or MATLAB/Simulink
Identify unsafe or unexpected behaviors and recommend improvements
Build Python-based simulation and analysis tools in a Linux environment
Collaborate with software, systems, and safety teams
Document simulation results and support validation activities
Qualification
Required
BS/MS in Computer Science, Robotics, Automotive, Systems Engineering, or related field
Experience with ADAS, autonomous driving, or vehicle simulation
Safety-related experience (validation, testing, behavior analysis, or simulation)
Strong Python skills and comfort working in Linux
Familiarity with simulation platforms such as Applied Intuition or MATLAB/Simulink
Analytical mindset with a strong interest in autonomous systems
Preferred
Experience in autonomous vehicle V&V
Knowledge of automotive safety standards
Exposure to safety-critical scenarios and edge cases
Experience working in cross-functional or global teams
