Responsibilities
Monitor day-to-day process operations and identify emerging issues
Troubleshoot process limitations and lead resolution efforts
Support unit startups, shutdowns, and maintenance preparations
Drive process optimization, energy conservation, and cost reduction initiatives
Lead and support PSM activities including HAZOPs and MOCs
Design, justify, and help commission process or system improvements
Serve as a technical point of contact across operations, EHS, and engineering
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
Experience supporting refining, chemical, or similar process industries
Hands-on involvement with PSM, HAZOPs, and Management of Change
Ability to serve in on-call and turnaround support rotations
Capability to use respiratory protection including full-face masks and SCBA
