The Scrum Master will act as a servant leader and coach, helping teams apply Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe principles to deliver value at scale, while focusing on team success and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
Facilitate team-level events: Iteration (Sprint) Planning
Daily Stand-ups
Iteration Reviews
Iteration Retrospectives
Coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe principles
Enable effective flow of work and adherence to WIP limits
Help teams build high-quality, incremental value every iteration
Remove impediments and escalate risks, dependencies, and blockers as needed
Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Track and communicate team metrics (velocity, flow metrics, predictability)
Support and participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning
Assist teams in preparing for PI Planning (backlog readiness, capacity planning)
Identify and manage cross-team dependencies and risks
Actively participate in: Scrum of Scrums
ART Sync (if applicable)
Inspect & Adapt (I&A) events
Partner with the Release Train Engineer (RTE) to improve ART execution
Promote alignment to ART objectives and PI goals
Support Product Owners with:
Backlog refinement
Story definition and acceptance criteria
Ensuring features are decomposed into ready stories
Collaborate with Product Management, System Architects, and stakeholders
Help ensure alignment between team delivery and business priorities
Qualification
Required
5+ years' experience leading a development team implementing principles of Agile software development
5+ years' experience with SAFe
Experience as a Scrum Master in a SAFe environment
Strong knowledge of SAFe, Scrum, Agile, and Lean principles
Experience working on Agile Release Trains (ARTs)
Proven ability to coach teams and leaders in Agile ways of working
Strong facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
Experience using Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, etc.)
Preferred
SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certification
Experience with large-scale or enterprise Agile transformations
Background in software development, QA, DevOps, or product management
Experience working with distributed or multi-team environments
Additional SAFe certifications (SA, SPC, RTE) a plus
