Engineering Service Manager
Lyndex-Nikken is a global organization specializing in precision toolholders and rotary tables. The Engineering Service Manager will lead service and installation efforts for the rotary table product line, managing technical support and field installation operations to ensure high customer satisfaction and efficient service workflows.

Responsibilities
Lead and develop both the inside service team and field installation technicians, ensuring performance, training, and staffing needs are met
Oversee technical troubleshooting, warranty coordination, and inbound customer service inquiries
Maintain high customer satisfaction through responsive communication and proactive service support
Streamline processes for service ticket handling, escalation procedures, and installation project tracking
Oversee service area, maintain service tools, and replacement parts availability. Enforce company and regulatory safety standards in all service and installation activities
Provide technical assistance for applications on a pre-sale basis. Make drawings, layouts, and technical data available for customer solutions. Introduce associated products, when appropriate, such as workholding and automation
Ensure accurate and timely service logs, install documentation, CRM entries, and team reporting. Protect and identify data file storage protocols
Manage senior communication with internal departments (Sales, Product Management, Purchasing, Accounting, etc.) as well as customers and vendors on engineering/technical issues. Serve as the senior contact to customers and vendors on technical points
Qualification
Required
A four-year college degree
Fifteen years of engineering, service, or repair experience, five years of which include management experience
Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted
Engineering terms and processes, CNC Machine Tool functions and concepts
Excel spreadsheet/PC/Email/Web basic functions
Computerized information systems
Common business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for products and services
Preferred
Communicate clearly to customers, both internal and external regarding complex technical issues. Provide excellent customer service
Lead a diverse team of engineers, service technicians, and outside contractors. Build relationships with all departments within the company to collect information and resolve problems
Serve as a senior advisor on all technical issues to senior management of the company
