Responsibilities
Execute maintenance leadership direction on shift for controls-related priorities and activities
Provide troubleshooting support to on-shift maintenance craftspeople and production supervision
Coordinate with internal support groups to complete shift objectives and resolve equipment/system issues
Provide contract engineering management and technical direction when required to support maintenance and production needs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical experience
2–4 years of engineering experience
Experience with electrical design standards and controls system design using CAD design tools
SEE Electrical experience
Experience with Rockwell PLC programming standards and software (GRAFCET, Ladder Logic, Structured Text)
Experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs) and motion control technologies
Experience with HMI systems (PanelView); FactoryTalk View ME Studio knowledge
Experience with controls network interfaces and industrial communication protocols (Data Highway Plus, ControlNet, Ethernet)
Experience configuring programming/communications for controls systems and device connectivity to computer/database systems
Preferred
Siemens PLC experience
Experience with VFD/motion platforms: Control Techniques, SEW MOVIMOT, Rockwell
Vision/sensing and automation equipment experience: Cognex, Keyence, Adept, Bytewise, Gocator
Robotics experience (configuration or operational knowledge); Fanuc or ABB experience
