Responsibilities
Responsible for implementing and migrating legacy API code for a modern Azure-based API solution
Responsible for day-to-day development, code migration/transformation, testing and deployment
Assists with documenting existing code and infrastructure
Communicates with stakeholders and team to communicate progress, identify risks and blockers
Responsible for guiding junior developers
Work with architecture team to identify and select appropriate azure componentry for optimal solution design
Qualification
Required
Must be eligible for a Public Trust
Must have Active AZ-204 certification
5+ years of experience in API design and development, with at least 3 years in Azure integration technologies
Hands on expertise in Azure API Management (APIM) Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Logic Apps, Functions, RESTFUL API Design
Strong understanding of integration patterns (synchronous, asynchronous, pub/sub, event-driven, microservices)
Proficiency in .Net Core, C#, PowerShell, Docker, Kubernetes/AKS
Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
Education: B.S. In Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent
